day 9 - food journal

a cup of hot water and lemon before anything
breakfast – 2 handfuls of cherries
snacks – nuts, nectarine, and an orange
dinner – left over mashed avocado

today has been my first down day.  i actually found myself thinking about chocolate at around 3.30pm.  but i put my music on and forged through.  its only day 9 and i’m not going to cave in.

music is a great way to change your mood, have you ever heard the saying, “music soothes the savage beast?”  it’s true.  music can calm and revitalise us in ways even a lengthy nap can’t.  music holds the power to elevate our moods above our worries, it can also perk us up if we use it with exercise.

these pumped-beats keep me going.  today is just one other day.  tomorrow will be much better.
