day 4 - food journal

first thing when i wake up - hot cup of lemon water
breakfast – fresh fruit salad including: honeydew melon, blue berries, strawberries, bannana, passion fruit seeds and pineapple
snacks – snacked on the fruit salad for most of the day
lunch – quinoa and raw salmon
dinner – quinoa and raw salmon (left over from lunch)

my first saturday night was upon me.  one of my girlfriends had come to visit and wanted to go out and have a few drinks.  not fully knowing where my decision lies with alcohol, and for the most part i wont really be drinking at all, however on special occasions i would like to have a couple of drinks with my friends and family.

i went to the organic section of the liquor store and they stock certified organic wine, which i was happy about.  its completely preservative free, and now that im writing this the day after the night out, i can say that i really do feel great.

i bought an angove organic chardonnay.  i did a little bit of research on the company and they do state on their website that at no stage during the grape growing or winemaking processes have we used any synthetic chemicals or inorganic inputs. these are wines as nature intended – pure and clean.
