day 8 - food journal


a cup of hot water and lemon before anything
breakfast – half a honey dew melon and a nectarine
snacks – nuts, 1 pear with cashew spread
lunch – prawns with a squeeze of lemon
dinner – half a sweet potatoe roasted and mashed avocado

i have also been having a couple of teaspoons of organic honey in the evening after dinner, and a tablespoon of coconut oil before bed.  i found this morning that i woke up feeling very sluggish.  the only sugar i ate yesterday was the honey.  so im leaving that out to see if i wake up feeling a lot more full of energy.

i’ve also been drinking green tea with my water during the day.  i do this by putting a green tea bag in the bottom of my aluminium bottle, and putting about a quarter of a cup of hot water to help the tea bag infuse then i fill the rest of the bottle up with cold water.

day 8 down and feeling amazing still
